"COLBY'S WINTER WATCH "
Winter settled in at Clearview, dusting the sidewalks with frost as Colby padded through the clinic, his breath puffing softly in the chilly air that followed each opening door. Inside, the warmth returned—along with the familiar hum of the clinic and the scent of clean blankets fresh from the dryer.
Emily and Myli folded cozy towels while Caitlin smiled as Colby inspected a new stack of winter coats left near the front desk. Dr. LaFaver paused to give him a gentle pat. “Keeping an eye on things, Colby?” she asked. Colby’s tail wagged as he continued his “supervisor rounds,” making sure everyone was ready for the season.
Colby knew winter brought new challenges for his furry friends:  icy sidewalks, cold winds, and hidden hazards beneath the snow. With the Clearview team beside him, he made it his mission to help pets stay safe and comfortable all winter long. Colby’s winter reminders included:
- Limit time outdoors during extreme cold
- Wipe paws after walks to remove ice melt and salt
- Provide warm bedding and fresh water
- Watch for antifreeze and other winter toxins
As the day wound down and the clinic once again grew quiet, Colby curled up on his favorite blanket, dreaming of warm homes, cozy naps, and a winter season full of healthy, happy pets in Hanover.
